Original* studies* on* scientific* and* technical* research* and* problem-oriented* applications* can* be* presented* at* the* congress.* A* person* can* present* a* maximum* of* two* abstracts* orally.* In* addition,* we* would* like* to* inform* you* that* we* are* ready* to* evaluate* your* abstracts* as* articles* in* the* publications* of* our* chamber,* "Geological* Bulletin* of* Turkey"* and* "Journal* of* Geological* Engineering".

Presentation* Language:* The* presentation* language* is* Turkish* or* English.

Abstract* Submission* Process* and* Ethical* Conditions:* Abstracts* should* be* submitted* electronically* via* the* Submission* System* to* the* Organizing* Committee* before* the* deadline* for* abstract* submission* in* the* Congress* calendar.* For* this,* you* must* first* log* in* to* the* submission* system.* The* author* information* form,* which* can* also* be* accessed* from* the* same* system,* should* be* filled* in* and* submit,* and* in* case* of* acceptance,* the* preferred* presentation* type* (oral* or* poster)* and* the* session* should* be* stated* in* this* form.* The* submitted* abstract* must* be* following* scientific* ethics* and* originality* and* must* not* have* been* presented* elsewhere* before.

Abstracts*are*considered*either*accepted*or*rejected*after*passing*peer-review*  organized*by*Session*Moderators.*Papers*accepted*as*oral*or*poster*as*a*result*of* the*evaluation*are*published*in*print*and*electronically.

Abstract* File:* Abstracts* will* be* prepared* by* filling* in* the* relevant* form* fields* (Title,* author* names,* address* information,* abstract,* keywords)* on* the* word* file* presented* below.* This* file* is* delimited* so* that* its* design* features* are* not* changed.* You* just* write* the* required* information* in* the* relevant* fields* and* save* and* submit* it.

Rules* for* Poster* Preparation

Posters* should* be* a* single* page,* and* acceptable* poster* dimensions* are* 70* (width)* x* 100* (length)* cm.

All* margins* of* the* posters* should* be* at* least* 2* cm.

The* name* and* logo* of* the* congress* should* be* taken* from* the* congress* website* and* placed* in* the* upper* left* corner* of* the* poster.

A* readable* font* should* be* selected* for* the* text* in* the* poster.* The* title* should* be* 60* points,* bold* and* centered,* and* also* should* not* exceed* two* lines.* Author* names* and* contact* information* should* be* 30* points* and* bold,* and* the* other* parts* can* be* 16-18* points.* The* name* of* the* presenting* author* should* be* underlined.

A* two-column* structure* should* be* preferred* for* the* text,* where* figures* can* be* placed* in* between* the* columns.

The* subtitles* should* be* 24* points* and* bold.

Posters* should* consist* of* sections* such* as* introduction,* method,* findings,* results,* and* discussion,* and* at* the* end,* references* should* be* indicated* in* smaller* characters* as* an* index.

There* is* no* color* limitation* in* the* preparation* of* the* poster,* and* the* use* of* colored* figures* and* photographs* that* increase* the* visuality* should* be* emphasized.* The* font* size* used* in* figures* should* be* readable,* and* the* same* font* should* be* used* in* all* figures.* Figures* should* be* presented* big* enough* to* be* seen* from* a* distance.

Rules* for* Poster* Presentation

Posters* will* be* put* on* boards* numbered* by* the* Organising* Committee.

The* Organising* Committee* will* assign* staff* who* will* guide* the* presenters* to* place* their* posters.

The* presenters* should* stand* next* to* their* posters* at* the* time* specified* in* the* program,* and* inform* the* interested* participants* about* their* studies.
